Ibiza

I spent close to two full summers on this magical island back in 2012 + 2013 and even though I have myself a nice little career in London, I still get the urge to pack my bags and fly off for 4 months. Now it’s just a case of trying to get back as much as I can each Summer.
Each visit I land armed with a list of new places to go and new things to experience. I’m so lucky to have friends that live there all year round and the lucky lot that have winter jobs they can leave in favour of Ibiza every summer to party with. Whether it’s your first time or your 100th, here I share all my highlights, guides and recommendations…

Elrow

I’ve always been sceptical about going to Elrow because of bright lights. I like parties like Enter that are super dark and make you feel like you’re partying in a more intimate venue than space. I had seen a ton of snapchats last year of the guys dancing around with inflatables and have to admit I was curious. The San An lot got us on a workers guestlist and there…

Cala d’Hort + Es Vedrà

Cala d’hort is a small cove home to a beach café/restaurant and a shingly beach. The beach looks out onto Es Vedra – the magnetic rock. It’s somewhere I’d always wanted to go but never found the time or had a way to get there. This year having the car I got the girls up nice and early and we drove over and up the Cliffside to the viewpoint. There’s parking all the way down…

Kanya, Kasbah + Golden Buddha

We stayed at Formentera apartments this year, so closer to the quieter spots at the top of what’s know as the Sunset Strip. The pool at formentera apts is pretty small, but workers tend to hang out at Kanya during the day. Their drinks are pretty reasonable and they have a nice clean pool with a fab view. This year we spent many of our afternoons laid out there with a spritzer. Usually between 4…

Cala Bassa + Sunset Ashram

Cala Bassa and Sunset Ashram are actually quite close to each other but we went to Cala Bassa on the boat from San An then I drove to Sunset Ashram in the evening once we’d freshened up. Its about €8 return on the water taxi and a really nice journey. Cala Bassa is mine and Laura’s favourite beach in Ibiza. The water is so clear, you feel like you’re swimming…

Carl Cox: The Final Chapter Opening Party

The only place to be on a Tuesday night is Carl Cox’s party at Space. I can’t believe it’s actually closing this year. It’s been one of those things that has been threatened for the past few seasons but this is it. 2016 The Final Chapter. The streets are lined with posters and banners for the party and CC’s days are numbered. No doubt he’ll throw a massive marathon of…
