Since I’ve been living in New York I’ve been so stressed about sorting my visa and settling into the new surroundings it was nice to get away for a second to gather my thoughts.
I went to visit family in Toronto, Canada. It was so lovely escaping from the craziness of Manhattan! Just 90 minutes away on a plane out of La Guardia and I was with familiar faces catching up on forever – Last time I was in Canada was my 2nd Birthday!
I spent 3 days meeting distant relatives, eating the same ice cream cake 21 years on, visiting Niagara Falls and Toronto city centre it was so lovely.
